Anita Barone

Barone played in The Shoes, an episode in Seinfeld's fourth season. She played Gail Cunningham, a chef that wanted Elaine Benes' shoes. In the early 1990s she was a regular member on Carol & Company with actress Carol Burnett. Barone was also Carol Willick Ross Geller's ex-wife in her first Friends performance. Jane Sibbett took over her character after Barone left the show to focus on working full-time. She was a star on The Jeff Foxworthy Show during the first year (1995-1996) and The War at Home in 2005 and 2007. Barone played co-star alongside Daddio in 2000. Barone's other television credits include Desperate Housewives Curb Your Enthuasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. Barone was awarded the Best Supporting Actress Award from Methodfest 2005, for her performance in the character she played as the character One Last Ride. Barone plays a part that she reprises in Shake It Up on Disney Channel and began airing three years later after The War at Home had ended.
