Thunberg was able to take the necessary action in August 2018. She stood calmly in front of the Swedish Parliament, put up an announcement that read "School Strike For Climate" and walked out of her school. This was her way of getting politicians' attention in order to tackle global warming. Swedish media filmed Thunbergs' strike, and the message spread. The following weeks many students across the globe participated in Thunberg's #FridaysforFuture protests. Students took Friday off in protest against global warming. Climate activists across the world organized the Global Strike for Climate. It was a huge achievement. Over 1.6 millions people took part from 125 different countries.

Nia Pease, also known by the name of Virenia Gindolyn Gwendolyn, is an American singer-actress. She is famous for her portrayal of Pam Fields (in the drama Pretty Little Liars) and Nicole Chapman (on the show Fame).
